Carrot Cake Oats

This recipe is full of super immunity boosting ingredients. It's yummy, easy, and your body will thank you for making it hehe.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium grated carrot

  • 1 Tbsp grated ginger

  • 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup oats


My toppings:

I topped off my bowl with banana, blueberries, sunflower seeds, and hemp seeds. You can top yours the same as me or use whatever you would like! Some other examples are date syrup, nut butter, kiwifruit, different berries, or coconut.


Instructions

  1. Add the grated carrot and ginger to your pot, then add water until it covers the carrot and ginger. Place on the stove and let that boil for for a few minutes.

  2. Add in the cinnamon and chia seeds. Let cook for a minute.

  3. Then add in your oats and more water to cover the oats. Make sure the amount of water you add sits just above the oatmeal. Mix all the ingredients together.

  4. Cook your oatmeal until your desired consistency.

  5. Once cooked, put your oatmeal to a bowl and add your toppings!
